Cisco IAC includes the following elements to facilitate the successful execution of cloud management:
Self-service portal
Provide an online shopping experience with self-service portals and service catalogs. The internal management function provides quotes when the user selects a service order. When the deployment is complete, the portal tracks service usage throughout the service lifecycle and reports to the user.
Network Service Automation
Out-of-the-box templates covering a wide range of network topologies and applications automate virtual network services and lifecycle operations in layers 2-7. Cisco IAC maintains the relationships between leasing enterprises, users, and applications related to network services and their respective lifecycles. In addition, it eliminates the need for manual preconfiguration or on-demand configuration that is prone to errors and can increase the effective time by several weeks.
Tenant Isolation
Securely isolate tenants in a shared container environment. Each container supports a custom brand and context specific to each tenant. Administrators can set tenant quotas and quote for each tenant's request.
Configuration and management
Extend to other hypervisors and cloud providers and determine the appropriate service costs and hypervisor types based on project requirements.
