The Cisco Aironet 1550 Series offers high-performance device access with 802.11a / b / g / n multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) technology and two spatial streams to improve wireless sensitivity and coverage. The access point can support multiple uplink and power options. The 802.3af compliant Power over Ethernet (PoE) interface allows easy connection of IP devices such as IP video cameras. The NEMA Type 4X enclosure is rugged enough to withstand harsh conditions. To ensure mission-critical applications continue to operate while power is off, the Cisco Aironet 1550 Series provides an internal battery as a backup power source.

The Cisco Aironet 1550 Series with Cisco CleanAir technology detects the interference from common outdoor interference sources such as unauthorized devices and WiMAX and wireless bridge products to deliver the highest performance 802.11n connectivity for mission-critical outdoor networks. The series of products using chip-level intelligence features to create a self-healing spectrum sensing, self-optimizing wireless network, reducing the adverse effects of wireless interference. CleanAir is a system-level feature of Cisco Unified Wireless Networks that detects RF interference that is unrecognized by other systems, detects and locates sources of interference, and then optimizes wireless coverage through automatic tuning, which greatly improves the quality of wireless networks.

Cisco Aironet 1552E External Antenna Access Point
The Cisco Aironet 1552E Outdoor Wireless Access Point is a standard dual-band, dual-radio system that complies with the IEEE 802.11a / n (5-GHz) and 802.11b / g / n standards (2.4 GHz). 1552E with three external antenna interface, can support three dual-band antenna. In addition, it features Ethernet and Fiber Small Form-Factor Pluggable (SFP) backhaul options and backup power. The model also comes with a PoE output port to support video surveillance cameras. Due to its high flexibility, the Cisco Aironet 1552E is ideally suited for urban and campus deployments, video surveillance applications, mining environments and 3G data offloading.
Cisco Aironet 1552C Cable Modem Access Point
Where telecom operators have deployed broadband wired networks, Cisco's next-generation outdoor wireless mesh network seamlessly extends network connectivity through an integrated cable modem interface that connects to the Cisco Aironet 1552C access point. The Cisco Aironet 1552C Outdoor Mesh Access Point is a dual radio system that supports power and backhaul via a DOCSIS 3.0 / EuroDOCSIS 3.0 (8x4 HFC) cable modem. IEEE 802.11a / n (5 GHz) and 802.11b / g / n standards (2.4 GHz). The 1552C also comes with an integrated ternary dual-band antenna that is fully within 30 cm of the carrier's deployment limit. This model is the perfect choice for 3G data offloading applications and public Wi-Fi.
Cisco Aironet 1552H Hazardous Location Access Point
This access point is designed for hazardous environments, such as oil and gas smelters, chemical plants, mines and manufacturing facilities. The Cisco Aironet 1552H Outdoor Wireless Access Point is certified for Class 1, Div 2 / Zone 2 hazardous locations. In addition to the backup battery, the other options of this product are the same as those of the 1552E.
Cisco Aironet 1552I Integrated Antenna Access Point
The Cisco Aironet 1552I Outdoor Wireless Access Point is a small, lightweight model in the 1550 Series. This product is small and compact, the appearance of simple, perfect integration with the surrounding environment. The smaller the power is brought to a better energy-saving performance. The 1552I does not have a PoE output port or a fiber SFP port.

The Cisco Aironet 1552E and 1552H outdoor wireless access points use three Cisco AIR-ANT2547V-N antennas. The dual-band omni-directional antenna has a gain of 4 dBi (2.4 GHz) and 7 dBi (5 GHz).
The Cisco Aironet 1552C and 1552I outdoor wireless access points come with a dual-band integrated radome. The antenna has three omnidirectional antenna elements with antenna gains of 2dBi (2.4GHz) and 4dBi (5GHz).
